Canadian singer-songwriter Meiwa has garnered international acclaim for her maturely thoughtful lyricism and subtly sophisticated, genre-melding creativity, showcasing an artist who adeptly expands her musical horizons.

Meiwa was nominated for the WCMA 2016 ‘Urban Artist of the Year’ award for her debut solo album titled ‘Let Go & Grow’. In 2018, the release of her single 'Wonder' led to a sold-out single launch supported by Ruby Gill in Melbourne, followed by a successful East Coast tour. 'Waiting' was released in April 2020 and due to pandemic restrictions the launch was celebrated worldwide via livestream performance, featuring Desirée Dawson, Janette King, Matt Storm, Mimi Gilbert and SKŸE.

Currently residing in Melbourne, Meiwa continues to gain momentum not only in Australia but also across Canada and the USA. Her performances range from intimate solo sets to dynamic 6-piece arrangements. Looking ahead, Meiwa has plans to release both a 6-song EP and a 10-song album in 2024.
